The NDIS Code of Conduct
The NDIS Code of Conduct ensures that all services provided to participants are conducted with utmost safety, respect, and integrity. The Code mandates that services must be delivered in a safe and competent manner, with due care and skill, and takes reasonable steps to prevent harm, abuse, exploitation, and neglect.

Reporting Incidents and Concerns
- Immediate Action: If you witness or become aware of any behavior or situation that breaches the NDIS Code of Conduct, immediate action is required.
- Internal Reporting: Submit a support ticket to Head Office via the internal portal. Detail the incident, the context, and any relevant information to document the issue and initiate the review process.
- Review and Guidance: Upon receipt of your report, Head Office will assist in reviewing the incident and provide guidance on the appropriate steps to follow. This may include additional internal measures or escalating the issue to the NDIS Commission.
- External Reporting: If required, and especially in cases of serious incidents involving harm or abuse, Head Office will guide you through the process of reporting to the NDIS Commission to ensure compliance and participant safety.
How to Submit a Support Ticket
- Log into the contractor portal and navigate to the ‘Support Ticket’ section.
- Choose the “NDIS Support” option from the drop-down menu to ensure your ticket is directed to the appropriate department.
- Provide a detailed description of the incident, including date & time, location, and any persons involved. The more detailed your report, the better equipped Head Office will be to assist.
If you have any questions or need further clarification on the Code or reporting procedures, please contact Head Office.
Your proactive engagement is vital for maintaining the high standards of service expected by the NDIS and for the well-being of participants.
