Booking & Customer Notes
In the app, there are different areas for notes, and it’s important to understand their purposes to ensure clear and accurate communication:
Booking Notes: These notes can be seen and edited by both the customer and the contractor. Use this area for information the customer needs to know or may want to update, such as specific service requests, care instructions, or pickup instructions.
Customer Notes: This section is visible only to contractors and Head Office. Use this area for internal details, such as special instructions, reminders, or comments that should be shared with other Contractors.
Understanding the distinction between these note types ensures that sensitive or internal information remains private while providing customers with the details they need.
Special Instructions added by the customer
This is where any notes that the customer has made at time of booking will appear:
- The type of service (eg detergent to use, special washing instructions)
- The pickup location (eg will be left at back door)
- Return delivery notes (leave at front door if not home)
- Code for gate entry etc.
Booking Notes - for contractor use (can be viewed by customer)
This is where you can add relevant notes for the customer:
I.e Location of where you left laundry (if applicable).
Customer notes - only viewed by contractors and Head Office
This is for internal notes, which are only seen contractors and Head Office. The customer will not see these notes.
